About the studio
Chaosmos makes calm, clever games for phones, logic puzzles most of all, one game at a time. Each game starts from one simple rule and adds a new idea every chapter. A program builds every level and proves it can be solved or won before it ships, and the levels are ordered so the difficulty never drops.
The games have no timers and play offline. They are free, with optional purchases and a few ads that never interrupt a level.
The name is chaos and cosmos in one word. A puzzle starts as a scatter of pieces and ends in an order the player found.

Short description
Plumb is a calm marble puzzle game: tilt the board, every marble rolls at once, and each must drop into the hole of its own colour.
Longer description
Tilt the board and every marble rolls at once. Each one has to drop into the hole of its own colour, and square pits swallow any that wander. One swipe, a whole chain of consequences.
A plumb is a weight on a line. Let it hang and it points straight down, the way gravity pulls. In Plumb you choose which way down is, and every marble on the board follows.
Most puzzle games move one thing at a time. Plumb moves everything at once, so four swipe directions make a surprisingly deep game. Every tilt is a small chain of consequences, and the fun is in reading the board before you make it.
Key features
- One swipe moves everythingTilt the board and every marble rolls at once, until a wall, the edge or another marble stops it.
- Watch out for pitsSquare pits swallow any marble. Undo is always one tap away, so a mistake is a lesson, not a loss.
- A new rule every chapterEach chapter brings its own idea to the board: gates, portals, springs, magnets, glass and more.
- A hint that shows, not tellsThe hint previews your next tilt on the board: dotted trails, ghost marbles and the holes they drop into. It never suggests a tilt that loses.
- Stars for the perfect routeA solver finds the fewest moves for every level. Clear it within that goal for three stars.
- Calm by designNo timers, no lives, no energy. Play offline at your own pace, with sound, music and vibration you control.

Short description
Carillon is a calm chain-reaction puzzle: tap a dot, its ring pops its neighbours, and every pop is a note.
Longer description
Tap a glowing dot and it pops, sending out a ring. Every dot the ring reaches pops in turn, and every pop is a note, so each chain plays a little melody. Read the field, then clear it in as few taps as you can.
A carillon is a set of bells, usually in a tower, played from a keyboard. The name fits: every pop rings a note, and a full clear sounds like a short song.
Chain reactions are a joy to watch, but most chain-reaction games are a race: tap fast and hope. Carillon slows the idea down. Rings are exact circles that grow at one speed, and holding a dot shows exactly what its ring will pop, so the puzzle is reading the field, never guessing.
Key features
- One tap, a whole chainTap a dot and it pops, sending out a ring. Every dot the ring reaches pops in turn and sends out a ring of its own.
- Every pop is a noteA dot's colour is its note on a pentatonic scale and its size is the octave, so every chain plays a little melody.
- Hold to read, for freeHold a dot to sweep out exactly how far its ring reaches and which dots it would pop. Holding never costs a tap.
- A spare tap on every levelEach level allows one tap more than its goal, the fewest taps that clear it. Spend it learning the field, or keep it for three stars.
- A hint from the solverThe hint lights the best next tap from wherever the field is now, and shows what its ring will pop.
- A new rule every chapterEach chapter brings its own idea to the field: heavy bells, tuning forks, horns and more.

Short description
Apsis is a calm arrow puzzle game: arrows rest on orbits around a sun, and each one you tap flies straight out if its path is clear.
Longer description
Arrows rest on orbits around a warm sun. Tap one and it flies straight the way it points: out of the system if its path is clear, or back with a bump if another arrow is in the way. Read the paths, then clear the sky.
An apsis is a point in an orbit where the orbiting body is nearest to, or farthest from, the body it goes around. The nearest point is the periapsis and the farthest is the apoapsis. Around the Sun they are called perihelion and aphelion, and around the Earth, perigee and apogee.
The game is a small planetary system: a warm sun, a few faint orbits, and arrows resting on them, each waiting for its moment to leave. Straight paths cut across curved orbits, so which arrow is in whose way has to be read, not counted along a row.
Key features
- One tap, one straight lineTap an arrow and it flies the way it points. If nothing is in its path, it leaves the system for good.
- Straight paths, round orbitsThe arrows rest on curved orbits but fly in straight lines, so who is in whose way has to be read, not counted along a row.
- Three hearts, three starsA blocked arrow bounces back and costs a heart. Clear a level without a single miss for three stars.
- Hold to see the way outKeep a finger on an arrow to lift it and see its path, drawn as wide as the arrow. Slide onto a neighbour to switch before anything counts.
- A hint you can trustThe hint lights an arrow that is free right now, the one whose launch frees the most others, and draws its way out.
- A new rule every chapterEach chapter brings its own idea to the sky: locks, ghosts, two suns, wormholes, mirrors, prisms and more.

Short description
Pyxis is a calm untangling puzzle game: pull the knots of a web apart until no strand crosses another and the web turns green.
Longer description
Every level is a web of knots and straight strands, and some of the strands cross. Drag a round knot anywhere and let it go. When no strand crosses another, no knot sits on a strand and no two knots crowd each other, the web turns green.
Pyxis is a small, faint constellation of the southern sky. Nicolas-Louis de Lacaille introduced it in the 1750s as a mariner's compass, and its brightest stars run in a short, almost straight line, like a compass needle. The word itself is Greek and Latin for a small box.
A cleared web is a few points joined by straight lines with nothing crossing, which is how a constellation looks on a star chart. So many cleared webs look like one that the game took a constellation's name, some of its webs are real constellations, and its Constellation look draws every knot as a star.
Key features
- Pull a knot, let it goDrag any round knot anywhere. Strands may cross on the way, so a drag never fails, and one good pull can clear a whole web.
- Square knots stay putA square knot is an anchor. It never moves, so the rest of the web has to make room around it.
- Rails and ringsSome knots slide along a dashed rail and some follow a dashed circle, and later chapters turn and shrink the tracks.
- A hint that shows the wayThe hint rings the knot to move and circles a place it can go. It never moves anything for you.
- Stars for the short wayEvery web has a goal, the moves in a route that clears it. Match it or beat it for three stars. Undo never counts.
- Real constellationsSome levels are real constellations, played on the night sky. Each opens on its figure, then tumbles into a tangle, and once you clear it the stars glide home, from little Aries to Orion the hunter.

Short description
Seiche is a calm pond logic puzzle: every ripple's ring touches exactly one fish. Find where the rings meet, then cast.
Longer description
Every ripple on the pond draws a ring of tiles, and every ring passes through exactly one fish. No fish ever hides inside a ring. Read where the rings meet, cast your line there, and catch every fish without a miss.
A seiche is a slow wave that rocks a whole lake from shore to shore. The pond in Seiche is calmer than that, but every ripple on it is a clue, and the ring each one draws reaches out across the water to a fish.
Seiche began as a small prototype called Ripple. Its rule stayed the same from the first day: every ring touches a fish, and nothing hides inside a ring.
Key features
- No numbers on the boardEvery ring has its own colour and its own mark, on its ripple and on each tile it crosses, so you see where rings meet rather than add anything up.
- Calm waterWater inside a ring, or off every ring, is drawn calm, since no fish can be there. Tap calm water and the game tells you why, at no cost.
- A hint that says whyThe hint lights a tile where a fish must be and gives the reason in one line, such as a ring with only one open tile left.
- A miss costs a starA cast on empty water costs a star and never the pond. Catch every fish without a miss for three stars, and Restart whenever you like.
- An album to fillEvery catch shows its kind and size. Eight kinds of fish, from minnows and perch to rare ones and a legendary one, each with its biggest catch.
- A new pond every dayAfter the first chapter, a daily pond opens, the same for everyone, with a clock, a streak to keep and a calendar of past days.

Short description
Hako is a calm puzzle about Japanese puzzle boxes: slide the wooden panels along their grooves until the lid is free.
Longer description
Every box is one face of a wooden puzzle box, seen from above: patterned panels lying in grooves, and a black lacquered lid beside a gap in the frame. Slide the panels aside until the lid can leave through the gap, and the box is open.
Hako is Japanese for box. Hakone, in the mountains west of Tokyo, has made himitsu-bako, secret boxes, for well over a century: wooden boxes covered in yosegi, a mosaic of different woods, that open only when their panels slide in the right order.
Each level in Hako is one face of such a box, seen from above, and the brass pins are its secret: a panel that will not move until another sits in the right place.
Key features
- Slide along the groovesShort panels, long panels and square blocks, each in its own groove. Lit chevrons at a panel's ends show which way it can go right now.
- Brass pins and their keysA pinned panel stays put until the panel carrying its mark rests on the matching ring. Some keys are pinned too, so a box opens only in the right order.
- A treasure at the end of every chapterA copper coin, a paper crane, a brass bell and rarer finds the deeper you go. Each one rises out of its box and takes its place on your shelf.
- Every push explains itselfA push that cannot go knocks, and what stopped it lights up: the panel in the way, the end of the groove, or the pin and the key it waits for.
- A hint for the next slideStuck? The hint lights the next panel to move and outlines where it should go, from wherever the panels stand now.
- A new box every dayAfter the first two chapters, a daily box opens, the same for everyone, with a streak to keep and a calendar of past days.

Short description
Rinse is a calm cleaning puzzle: pour water to wash every tile clean before the tank runs dry, as dirty water runs downhill.
Longer description
Tap above the dirt to pour. The water runs down, lifts the grime off every tile it touches and carries it away. But dirty water drops its dirt again wherever it slows, so the order you wash in decides whether the water lasts.
Key features
- Aim, then pourSlide along the top and a dotted line shows where the water will land. Lift your finger to pour. A pour is one tap, so speed never matters.
- Dirty water runs downhillFalling water carries the most grime, sliding water a little and still water none, so dirt washed off one tile lands on whatever is below.
- A new piece each chapterDrains, baths that hold whatever reaches them, mud that one splash knocks loose, muddy plugs, and trays that tip their water out once full.
- Undo any pourUndo puts the board and the tank back to before your last pour, and Restart begins the level again. No timers, and no rush.
- A hint that pointsThe hint lights the column to pour into next and where that water will land. If the water left can no longer wash it clean, the game says so.
- A new mess every dayAfter the first chapter, a daily puzzle opens, the same for everyone, with a streak to keep and a calendar of past days.

Short description
Sunwise is a one-thumb arcade game: hold anywhere to swing your planets round a small star and smash what flies at it.
Longer description
You are a small star, and your planets do the fighting. Hold anywhere on the screen: how far your thumb is from the star sets how wide your planets swing, and they smash whatever they touch. Pull in to block what comes fast, and swing wide to reach what keeps its distance.
Sunwise is an old word for the way the sun moves across the sky, which is clockwise. Your planets swing sunwise round your star, and the Twin Ring upgrade adds a second ring that turns the other way.
It began as a small prototype called Corona, an endless run round one small star. The star and the one-thumb ring stayed, and the endless run became stages in chapters, each with an end you can reach.
Key features
- Learned in a secondHold anywhere and slide. That is the whole control. The ring sits a little inside your thumb, so your finger never hides the planets.
- Pull in, swing wideA tight ring spins fast enough to block a comet, and a wide one reaches a pulsar that stops out of range to shoot. No one swing is right for long.
- A new hazard each chapterRocks, then comets, pulsars, swarms and boulders, each met first on its own, with one line on screen saying what it wants.
- Upgrades as you goSmashed hazards drop light, and light buys upgrades: more planets, moons, a second ring that turns the other way, a pulse from the star, burning trails and more.
- Stars for a bright starThree stars for ending a stage with most of the star's health, fewer as it dims. When the star burns out, the game names what got through.
- A daily skyAfter the first chapter, a short sky opens every day, the same for everyone, timed until it is clear, with a streak to keep.
